Post Production: Video Editing October

This style of an old tv look was used throughout the starting of the video as it has an 30 odd seconding opening on musical without vocal therefore we added the use of introducing the band members coming from different locations that are set around the area of shooting, the areas around the location that we used are: Black paths with  grassy hill decent walking towards the camera. 

These are some of the video sections that we have from October alone, from the footage we had from the following shoot.  For the visual effect kept to the same use of colloideascope and bad television towards the start as it gives an oldie buildup of the music video.

Reflection:

We are now %60 through and now awaiting on more footage organisation with the performers to add more suitable footage from the location set to add more of an widen depth to the product and meet the needs that we have looked into for this product alone. 

Preperation of Sunday 5th October 2014

For this day we have organised the lyrics and a timetable for the durtation of the day that allows us to have an full aspect of what is going to be happen and allow us to be prepared for the shooting we would be taking, it also allows the performers to be prepared for the day and give them an insight of what they would be doing that day.

The overall progression of this day has allowed us to obtain suitable photos that we are able to implerment within the production of the coursework and even given us more idea's that would be useable in the music video, the example of this is the use of leafs with the main singer in to add an lively effect including the use of slowly brushing leafs infront of the camera as it allows and autumn effect to be used within the video.

Location Reece : Kemmel Close Woods

The reason that brought up this location was through the simplicity of location around him that setted the scene for the style of genre we are going to be producing for the music video. The reasoning behind the location as the style was simplistic and gave an dark but light theme to it to represent confusing of wildlfie and woods into the area.


The positive aspect for this location:
Quick to get to if need shots
Wide range of shots are available for both the digipak, website and music video.
The sinister wood effects give an focal effect and be suitable for the production


Negative aspect:
The timing for the location can vary for the style of shooting that we would like to implerment within the music video, Another would be the tming of the location as the months go on the weather becomes bad ans unsuitable for recording that would put the producers and the performers health and safety at risk for example muddy pathways.



Reflection:
The overall location and the research of this area will be used for the later production as it gives an general theme of what we want for the music video and later designs.
