Music Video Event

Throughout the duration of the time within the music video event through the date of 19th August 2014.

Within the duration of the day we learnt new skills to gain the best level available for the coursework that we will be creating and the faults that can occur to maintain the best available work overall.

The progession through the day shown us improvements that can easily be made within the coursework and fully later through the day of the shoot that we all particiaed in for example; Camera work and performaning, it allowed us to have ago and be told critical improvements that will easily be suitable for the work that we wil be creating.

 

During the Activity

 Within the activity we were shown how everything was set up for the reasons to give multiple uses of all scenes that can be used within the recording to reach its full potensial.

It allows us to see what similarities we would be working with and how ours would be set up to achieve the best recordings for the upcoming editing of our music video.

Finally it gave us improvements throughout the recording of each groups to make us realise where our faults are and where we can improve.


 Through the duration of the performance

Once we were opted to go into groups and try out different instruments, vocals or recording. It allowed everyone to have an hands on go at familiar activities that will be useful within duration of the coursework that allows us to know the work more in hand inpreperation for more practicles that might be useful for either my project or another project within the classroom for another user.

This practical of the performance has allowed me to realise what really needs to be done within a music video if you are performaning yourself and from this I have found the following:

• Always be on your feet through the duration of a music video if performaning
• Make sure of the atmosphere around you and stick to it if group band to create the vibe within the music video
•  Don't be shy when performaning or recording enjoy it while your still alive.
• When recording always make sure you get the most out of the screening as it will allow you to have more to play around within the editing stages.

 






The Technical terms that I learnt for props was to be organised and have everything set out so it makes the band look real including making it possible for different shots within the recording feature.
We had the following set up:
Lighting
Camera Set up
Playing the track
Number of takes
costume
performance
Direction

All of these will effect my later production of the coursework as it will allow everything to comjoin together within the production to allow everything to flow functionally within the recording stages therefore it wont allow any mistakes to be made  and then to go through the hassle of recording certain sections as they wernt set up properly.





Towards the end of the day we had another activity of where we had todo an exercise that allowed the use of video sources and background music to create an 30 seconed video within 40 minutes it make me realise the pace the work is going to be permitted throughout the coursework to maintain the best grades possible
